On January 22, 2025, during World Economic Forum Week in Davos, Dustin Plantholt will moderate a high-level panel discussion at Davos Lodge titled:

“The Roles of Diplomacy and Homeland Security in a New Supply Chain World Order.”

The discussion will examine how geopolitical diplomacy, national security, and global supply chains increasingly intersect in an era shaped by disruption, decentralization, and global risk.

A Panel of Global Experience

The panel brings together leaders with firsthand experience in diplomacy, intelligence, negotiation, and law enforcement:

  • Edward McMullen Jr., former U.S. Ambassador
  • Chris Voss, former FBI negotiator
  • John Franchi, former CIA Station Chief
  • Michael Sherwin, former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia

Each speaker has operated in high-stakes environments where decisions carried global consequences—making their perspectives especially relevant as supply chains become strategic assets rather than logistical afterthoughts.

Moderating the Conversation

As moderator, Dustin will guide the discussion across themes of diplomacy, homeland security, economic resilience, and policy coordination. The goal is not theoretical debate, but practical insight—how nations and institutions can adapt to a supply chain landscape increasingly shaped by geopolitical tension, security concerns, and cross-border dependency.

Held at Davos Lodge, the panel forms part of a broader set of conversations taking place alongside the World Economic Forum, where global leaders convene to address shared challenges and future pathways.
